So regulated you have no idea.

  • they can’t carry guns
  • they might stop them carrying tasers
  • they have batons so they can hit people who are being violent but they’re only allowed to hit anywhere from the waist down. If they hit anyone anywhere higher, they will lose their job.
  • If a police officer here is racist in any way, shape or form and is reported and found to be guilty, they will lose their job.
  • If a police officer is off duty and out with their friends, if they get too drunk and too rowdy or cause ANY kind of trouble, they will lose their job.

take note America. this is the kind of thing that we should be insinuating into our police systems not what it is going on right now. 

Civil servants can’t tell who they voted for. I don’t know if it’s the same for police officers, but it’s something that makes me feel better about people managing the life of the citizens (and residents).
