I really wanna know the back stories to why these signs were needed

I can only speak for the octopus one, which is located at the Monterey Bay Aquarium in California. It simply means do not use the flash on your camera because octopuses are shy creatures and have large, sensitive eyes.

The “There are no prostitutes here” one is in London. More precisely, it’s in Meard Street in Soho, which is a neighbourhood with a tradition of brothels and strip clubs.

By the way, it’s one of the greatest places in London, so it’s one of the greatest places on earth.
